The Y HQ is Perth's (and Australia's) only dedicated All Ages drug and alcohol free live music venue and arts and performance community hub. As well as live music and performance events most weekends HQ also has a co-working space for young creative entrepreneurs, art and performance workshops and hosts regular events and festivals throughout the year.

List your support acts support acts must include 1 band with an u18 member in it. Please consider diversity when booking support acts, and get in touch if you would like us to offer suggestions

Sound check/line check times Load in to the venue is 1 hours before doors. We can only offer a 20 min sound check for the headline act and a line check for the open act. if you require more time, it will cost an extra $100 per hour to load in to cover staff costs. Include a start and finish time.

What backline are you supplying for everyone to share? We have: X1 drum throne X1 Floor tom (18 inch) X1 Rack Tom (14 inch) X1 Bass drum (22 inch) X1 Drum key We can provide the following upon request: X1 hi hat X1 kick (if you need double kick please supply your own) X1 16 Inch Crash X1 18 inch ride X1 snare Bands are to supply everything else. You are welcome to use your own kit.

Set Times Please make sure there is a 15-20 minute change over for acts. Be sure to include start and end times

Do you require a table to sell merch?

Riders Please note we DO NOT supply riders other than water for artists, as we are not a licensed venue. The rider is the responsibility of the promoter for the night. We will not allow riders that include alcohol or tobacco. If you are providing a Rider for your booking, you will need to run it by us first to confirm what is being supplied. Are you doing pre-sales? And what ticketing outlet are you going to use? We recommend Humanitix (booking fee goes towards Indigenous Education in Aus), Oztix or Eventbrite. Please send us the link as soon as you have it set up.

Will you be setting up any props or decorations on stage?

Tech Specs You must send all tech specs to us within 1 week of your show. Please type YES to agree.

Will you be bringing your own Sound /Lighting Tech/Production Crew? We have an in-house sound and lighting tech which is included in the cost of the venue hire if you do not have your own.

YMCA HQ is a Drug, Alcohol and Smoke Free Venue This means that you are not to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol on the premises. You are also not allowed to bring drugs or alcohol onto the venue either. If found breaking these rules management reserves the right to ask to offenders leave, confiscate the items and cancel their set without payment. Smoking is not to be done within 10 meters of the perimeter of the venue. Please smoke away from the venue either in the park across the road, or past the basketball courts behind the venue. Type YES to agree to the policy. if You do not agree, your booking will be cancelled.
