Akintunde laid down his own personal career aspirations and accepted God’s assignment to Entertain the Body of Christ and draw the World to Christ through stand up comedy which lead to the gain of a 2014 Dove Award. As a 20 Year Comedy Veteran, Akintunde's versatility makes him suitable for awards, conferences, concerts, churches, workshops and community events.
Akintunde has been on 10 national tours in the past 5 years. With appearances and features across multiple platforms such as The Word Network, TBN, The Gospel Music Channel, and The Stellars Awards, Akintunde has also toured with Pastors Creflo and Taffi Dollar on the "Change Experience" Tour for 4 years and hosted a tour with TeenMania's "Acquire The Fire". He has been featured at T.D. Jakes' MegaFest and Woman Thou Art Loosed Conference for the last 3 years.
As well as comedy, Akintunde's talent can been seen in his writing, acting, producing and directing skill. A sought after screen and television writer with over 350 original television episodes of writing credits, Ak has written for "It's Showtime at the Apollo", the "BET Awards", and the "NAACP Image Awards" and worked as a Head Writer and Producer for BET Networks', "The Monique Show".
Akintunde looks forward to spreading the Gospel with his comedy tour movement, "Rebirth of Comedy" into the UK, Europe and beyond in 2017.
