Loop pedal, beat-boxing and throat singing. Astrid creates live, multi-layered compositions by combining seven or more voices using a loop pedal. Starting with simple riffs and repetitive patterns, harmonies and rhythms are gradually added until complex soundscapes emerge. Beatboxing and throat singing add a touch of quirkiness.

Astrid was a resident performer in Mr Falcon's in Glebe in 2014. She's previously played at the Glebe Street fair and at other festivals such as Winterfest in Carriageworks, Eveleigh. Her music has been played on community radio stations (Bondi FM and fBi).
