OUR STORY:
We started Bad Modem in 2022 in Bakersfield, CA, reconnecting as old bandmates from over 20 years ago to play some of the best loved 90's alt rock hits - music that still resonates with us today. What began as a grand experiment in writing original rock tunes in the late 90's and early 2000's, continues today as an homage to arguably one of the best decades for rock music.
OUR MUSIC:
The Nineties gave us some of the best music still being widely enjoyed today. We cover Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Gin Blossoms, Stone Temple Pilots, Nirvana, Tonic, Collective Soul, Bush, Live, Counting Crows, Weezer, Fuel, Eve6, Coldplay, Green Day, Tom Petty, and much more.
OUR COMMITTMENT:
Whether you need us for a 30-minute set or a 2-hour show, we promise to draw the crowd in and get them singing along to these great 90's alt rock covers. We'll "Comedown" to your awesome venue, "Counting Blue Cars" along the way, singing an "Interstate Love Song", giving you "Everything You Want" until you feel "Plush" and "Alive" and the audience "Smells Like Teen Spirit"!
