Originating as a duo back in 2006, Big Scary have gone onto release several EPs and 3 albums. 2013 album Not Art taking out the Australian Music Prize, alongside being nominated for the triple j Album Of The Year award & Best Independent Release at the ARIAs. Festival appearances at Falls, Groovin The Moo, Splendour In The Grass & Laneway Festivals. The band’s national album tour sold out. Big Scary’ 3rd album - ‘Animal’, released September 2016, has yet again being met with critical acclaim, earning the band an AMP nomination.
