Cherie is a professionally-trained actress who has performed vivid character-driven burlesque all over the U.S. and internationally since 2011. Known for her “hypnotizing” posterior, she is a versatile performer who effortlessly shifts from high-glamour classic burlesque to pop culture inspired nerdlesque, from sultry to silly and poignant to ridiculous.

She was voted DC’s Best Performance Artist first runner-up in the 2016 and 2017 Washington City Paper’s Reader’s Poll and was a finalist for the New York Burlesque Festival Golden Pastie Award for Rear of the Year. In 2012, she won Best Group at the Great Southern Exposure Festival with Kubrilesque.

From 2013 to 2017, she performed at L’Enfant Cafe’s La Boum Brunch, during which time it was named one of Bravo TV’s top five party brunches in the country, and its late-night counterpart, La Boum Boum Room.

In 2015 and 2016, she toured nationally with Burlesque is Coming (www.burlesqueiscoming.com), the only Game of Thrones burlesque tribute officially endorsed by George R. R. Martin and invited to play at his theatre, Jean Cocteau Cinema in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The tour received international attention from media outlets such as Entertainment Weekly, Playboy, and Time.
