I have been actively involved in live music, community performances and organising gigs in Sydney since 1988.
Bands & community groups I have led include; The Original 'Brackets & Jam', Clive Lochner & The Melting Pot, The Urban Funk Collective, That Old Devil Called Jazz, The Urban Fusion Collective and also 'Pearls & Twine' A String of Artistic Events.
Regular weekly performance with collectives including Brackets & Jam, The Monday Jam, Sydney Fusion Jazz Inner West Jazz Hip Hop Freeform Society, The Urban Funk Collective.
Currently band leader/vocalist/percussionist with 2 bands & a member of the jam band and crew for The Monday Jam.
Clive Lochner's Slinky Swing Orchestra: Established 2019. A contemporary 15 piece orchestra with an 8 piece brass section, organ, piano, synthesisers, guitars, bass, drums & percussion. We play original tunes & Frank Sinatra hits sprinkled with renowned hits & releases by other jazz greats including Billie Holiday, Herbie Hancock, Etta James, Jacky Orzacsky, Little Willie John, Louis Armstrong & Al Jarreau.

The band has a reputation for creating sensational live grooves. We play originals, covers & improvise on grooves. Our diverse cultural elements form a sweet, melodic & rhythmic.
