Danah Denice is a 29 year-old singer-songwriter from Stevensville, MD. With a classical background in piano, and a folk background in guitar, she’s been compared to artists such as Carole King, Fiona Apple, and Joni Mitchell. Her raw and powerful vocal delivery, coupled with her pensive and heartfelt lyricism, has built her a loyal following in the greater Annapolis, Eastern Shore, and Baltimore areas.
She’s collaborated with numerous artists in the DMV—both live and in studio, as a session musician writer. Her first solo EP, “Light From a Dark Room” was released on 2/2/24, and she sold out both nights of her record release show in Annapolis to commemorate the release. The EP debuted at #7 (most downloaded) and #13 (most played) on the NACC's College Radio Charts, and debuted on the AMA Americana Charts at #156. The music video for her single, “To Say Goodbye” has already accrued 65k views on YouTube — and the EP is spinning on over 130 radio stations (and counting) across the US. She recently debuted at Rams Head On Stage with her band in January, selling out the venue.
