Bringing a fresh flavour to the genre of Soca music is Daniel Hamilton, a Soca artiste with aspirations of making a huge impact in his words “as quickly as possible”.
Inspired greatly by Chris Brown who he considers a mentor and idol, he seeks to follow in the lineage of other triple threat Singer/Dancer/Songwriter types such as Usher and Michael Jackson thus bringing a unique and exciting energy to the soca industry. Daniel is formally trained in both dancing and singing. He has mastered many styles of dance during his teenage years including Hip Hop and has represented his country at an international Hip Hop event held in the US.
In 2017 Daniel made his debut in the soca arena. His debut single "Stay High" received many positive reviews and debuted on 91.9 FM, and Slam 100.5 FM.
He started 2018 off on a great note with a third place finish in the TT Next Superstar competition. He also placed first in the Tilt Thursday weekly artiste showcase hosted by Chromatics and placed third in the finals. In October he released his first official video for his single for Carnival 2019 titled "Get Thru" which has been getting rave reviews and a strong performance on YouTube.
