After a few years of working in the hip-hop scene and playing hip-hop and house music at nightclubs, he decided to dive into electronic music and by 2010 he started focusing exclusively on electronic dance music, being inspired from Dj’s like Frankie Knuckles, masters at work, Kerry Chandler, Tony Humphries, Chez Damier, and from vocalists like Robert Owens, Cari Golden and many more, he then decided to embrace these sounds and produce new tracks that were more suitable for the underground dance music scene.
His production skills have been notice around the world, being called to remix the northern American band Mind The Gap, which was released by Miami’s record label Heavenly Bodies records and also a remix for Hanna Haïs Defected Star. In his studio he prepares, he invents and he creates the same music that captivated him from the early age of eight.
Since then, and now currently living in London, he has been working with names like Mr. V (Defected), Cari Golden (Crosstown Rebels), Inaya Day (Toolroom), Yasmine Azaiez (Culprit), Asta (Deeperfect), Veselina Popova, Saccao (Suara), and many others.
His collaboration with Mr V. got the attention from big cats in the Industry which end up reaching the #23 position on Beatport.
While playing in different parts of the world D-Compost still manage to show credentials in different renown labels.
His tracks have been released by labels such as Nurvous Records, Toolroom, Deeperfect, Armada Music, Alola Records, Mur Music.
