Born out of the DIY ethos and underground music scene, Psyched As is much more then just a promoter/label business – it’s a community built for music lovers by music lovers. Founded by friends and business partners Brad Kafer and Richard Mills, Psyched As started with just an idea and a shopfront but has grown into a brand name synonymous with the Sydney music scene.

For over three years Psyched As have been throwing parties and events around Sydney, earning themselves a reputation as dependable tastemakers and indisputable party kings. Psyched As quickly evolved into an engaged, supportive and trusted community of music fans with Psyched As events quickly gaining notoriety for their good times and diverse line-ups.

Two years of house parties culminated in their inaugural mini festival – the Psyched As 1000 boasting two stages and 14 of NSW best bands. This widely celebrated event was recently nominated for ‘Best Music Event’ at the FBI radio SMAC awards celebrating the best in music and events around Sydney.

Psyched As DJ’s are an extension of this ethos, party spirit and taste for good music that come with the Psyched As brand. Born in raised in the 90s and naughties but with a music taste that spans much, more – Psyched As have proven themselves to be tastemakers behind the scenes and behind the decks.

Individually going as DJ Dickie Thrills and DJ Bread Jesus– together or individually Psyched As know and have been proven to throw a good time.
