Dr Mendez is a French artist coming from Montpellier (France) living in Australia. After more than 15 years of Djing, Travelling and a Medical PhD in his pocket, Dr Mendez has chosen the country Down Under to develop his live performances and productions. He is now firmly at the heart of Sydney’ current electronic landscape and became a surging name in recent years, with many releases and support acts from regular internationals touring such as JAMIE JONES, HARRY ROMERO, M.A.N.D.Y, LOW STEPPA, NATALIA PARIS to name just a few. Influenced by his roots he has further strengthened his unique sound, building on grooving and rolling arrangements to create a world between French House, and Latin house music that nods to the golden era of UK tech-house.
