In an age of endless house sound-alikes, Monika Ross constantly raises her head above the barrier. A radio host, producer and dj, the Aussie born spinstress built her grounding in Sydney before immersing herself in London’s well nurtured house and techno scene. Now Berlin-based, it’s a rare sight to see Monika back in Sydney town so we’re making the most of it and throwing her back into the fold to close out SASH By Day in the open-air Terrace.

Papa Bear Kerry Wallace takes control of the sunset session with everybody’s favourite LADCAT making his grand return. Gabriel FixeL steps into the opening slot.

Groovy rolling bass lines, minimal, acid and 90s house can all be heard in Cassette's sets and productions. Not one to be pigeon holed, or limited by others’ perceptions, Cassette draws influence from many genres. Early attendance at raves listening to Breaks, Garage, Drum n Bass and Chicago House, combined with her upbringing on Jazz & Soul have all helped shape her into the dynamic selector she is today. She takes out top honours at SASH By Night this week down in the dark red depths of Oxford Art Factory.
Bortzo returns to the close for 2 hours of heaving hitting house power and Marina Lović joins us once again to open up the proceedings.
