It’s going to be a surf rock fest this Saturday at NightQuarter. Gold Coast legends The Royales and Yes Sir Noceur are coming together with Melbourne’s The Sand Dollars for a night of epic riffs and guitar hooks.

The Royales’ brand new EP ‘Anybody Else’ is an irresistible combination of indie-rock dance elements and traditional stadium-sized rock anthems. The subtle synthesiser in the verses keeps everything silky and smooth, whilst the main hook from guitarist Steve de Vin and bassist Tom Passaris is rock ’n’ roll riffage at it’s most delectable. Their new EP ‘Rewind’ is the much anticipated follow up to their self titled EP from 2013.

They will be joined on stage by local lads Yes Sir Noceur. If Jim Morrison, The Beach Boys and Jimmy Page somehow defied everything we know about anatomy and physiology and made a lovechild, and that lovechild made music, it would sound a little bit like Yes Sir Noceur. The charismatic four-piece are bringing their psychedelic surf tunes to NightQuarter.

Melbourne’s favourite surf rockers The Sand Dollars are coming along as a part of their East Coast tour. With surf rock party vibes with a nostalgic feel, The Sand Dollars will get you dancing with their cruisy guitars and scratchy vocals.

We’ll see you on the dance floor.
