Woohoo! It’s our birthday!

NightQuarter is turning one, so we’re throwing one big party to celebrate.

Let’s eat cake! Or cronuts… or doughnuts… or cake shakes, caramel apples, waffles, funnel cakes, giant lamingtons, gelato or ice cream sandwiches… can we wear stretchy pants to our birthday?
 
How time has flown since we first opened the NightQuarter gates in November 2015.

We've opened the gates to your beautiful faces over 100 times. We’ve met people doing inspiring things with food, fashion, art, craft and design. We’ve seen over 500 amazing bands and musicians. We’ve had huge artists like The Cat Empire and Safia drop by for massive shows. We have had trainees from Helensvale High School graduate with flying colours. We won the Gold Coast Music Awards ‘Best Venue’ of the year. And… we’ve got to spend our weekends with you!

If that’s not reason to celebrate then we don’t know what is!
 
So, in true NightQuarter style, we’re throwing a party like no other! TWO massive days of the bands you’ve loved best, the food you can’t get enough of, the shops where you always find treasure and the drinks that keep you dancing!
 
We are thrilled to announce: *DRUM ROLL PLEASE*

They will be performing across the NightQuarter’s 1st Birthday weekend on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th November.

Not one but two of the artists who played on our opening night are returning for our birthday. Cheap Fakes were the first band to ever play on the Paddock stage, so to mark the occasion, they are returning (after a huge East Coast tour) to unleash their pop infused, brass fuelled funk and ska on us once more. Josh Lovegrove was the first musician to ever play on the main stage. Storyteller and looping sensation, he has since become a regular crowd favourite at NightQuarter and we can’t wait to share a birthday beer with him.
 
Whilst we love a good party, whether it involves fire performers, hula hoopers, bagpipes, carnival parades, extreme stunts, freak show acts, food festivals or spooky costumes, it’s always been about creating a place for the community to gather and create memories.

Gold Coast… thank you for your support. We couldn’t be prouder to be a part of this community.
