It’s with somewhat sadness we wish to inform you all that our beloved venue Flyover will be no more…..
Most of you will know that the doors leading to the terrace have recently been shut forcing the party inside & as much as the party has continued, this is just not good enough for S.A.S.H….
With that in mind, it was time to make a move….& a special one at that!
We have a new HOME organised which we’ll be announcing soon, but in the meantime we invite you to join us for one last “Horrah” at Flyover & kiss goodbye the good times we’ve had within its walls.
Our time at the Flyover will be looked back upon fondly with set’s tastefully served out by absolute legends; Kevin Griffiths, Jesse Rose, Detroit Swindle, Recondite, Funk D’Void, INXEC, Le Loup just to name a wee few.
We’ve danced, laughed and smiled under the dimly lit light globes of its terrace, but the time has come for a new home.
To all who have joined us for our time at the Flyover, we thank you for your warm hearts, smiles, unrelenting support and only hope you can join us as we move to our new stable.
For the last party, we’re galloping off into the Sunset in what we believe is a fitting farewell! Giving one half of our residents, Matt Weir and Gabby a three hour b2b battle royal in the headline spot with co-party captains, Charades before farewelling them off to Europe. A gent who’s been with us for many a Sunday’s, Jaded will be making his long awaited return with his trademark deep tech house sounds with fine lady and quality selector, Pippa Dalton making her solo debut. Bringing in the afternoon sun and warm down tempo sounds, Gerrit Oliver, who is no stranger to quality house will be opening the Flyover for the final time.

Two of our dearly beloved residents will be thrown in for an all out 3 hour royal rumble in the headline spot to farewell the Flyover off in black and yellow. Our main lady, Gabby, has just returned from Europe and itching to play out some new gems she’s encountered the last few weeks. Two Dj’s who in their own right serve it out with the best, but together, complement each other just oh so tastefully.

Successful promoters and Dj’s, we’ve teamed up with Nergal & Daniel over the summer period to dish out the pretty spectacular LEASED Summer Series parties. More so, they have been offering Sydney’s nightlife a haven amongst the current state of things with their ‘Speakeasy’ parties. This will be the last time you’ll catch them before flying off to Europe ! If you happen to be lucky enough to be there, be sure to catch Charades at Dimensions festival in Croatia !

The New Zealand born lad migrated to Australia in 1992 with a heedful of dreams of becoming Michael Jackson. Having been thrown into Sydney’s house scene, his ambitions changed and busted out the door to quickly buy a run-down start to hone his sound. Signed to ‘Beef Records’ and ‘Trojan House Records’ and a well established Sydney act his MJ dreams may still be alive, but his moon walk leaves much to be desired.

Having played at the Australia Day Party b2b with Garth Linton, she’s well and truly proved her ear and skills to lock in two hours of her own tunes. Focused heavily on quality and the unique, Pippa has been squirreling away music for quite some time now and eagerly awaiting for the right time to bust out her best. The time has come and come out of her winter hibernation for this special occasion.

One of our favorite adopted Australian’s, Gerrit has been involved in Sydney’s music scene in many ways, including draping venues with nice big purple Funktion 1 stacks for Night Works Audio and more recently behind the cdj’s. Having blessed our ears with a set at the Burdekin last week, we can safely say, he’s taste in music
