As the official home of PechaKucha in Lancaster, we’re excited to host these events of short informative an entertaining presentations. This is PechaKucha Night Lancaster, Vol. 5!

What is PechaKucha?

PechaKucha 20×20 is a simple presentation format where you show 20 images, each for 20 seconds. The images advance automatically and you talk along to the images. That means each presentation is just 6 minutes and 40 seconds in length.

The format was invented by some architects over in Japan as a way of making presentations without too much talking. Eventually, the concept took off and now people are hosting PechaKucha events all over the world. And it’s open to just about anyone to talk about just about anything!

Be a Participant!

We’ll be hosting several of these events throughout the year, and while we are asking certain people to make presentations, we’re also asking for your submissions. What can you present about? Anything! It could be your job, your hobby, something you’ve learned, your life, or whatever you feel like talking about, with slides, for 6 minutes and 4o seconds!

If you would like to be a participant, contact Bill Speakman at BillS@tellus360.com for more information.
