CK & the 45s bring their unique, irreverent, energetic, heartfelt and always entertaining approach to Hank’s songs to the stage of The Vanguard this year.

Featuring some re-imaginings of the classics, the 45s will bring a cornucopia of musical surprises. Lush and atmospheric pedal steel from the virtuosic John Stuart, a legend of Australian stage and studio will delight and tug at your heart strings. Lozz Benson, one of Sydneys most tasteful and innovative drummers also has the voice of a honky tonk angel and will provide harmonies to make you weep. Bassist Stefano Cosentino needs no introduction to the stage, coming from playing concert halls such as the Sydney Opera House and working alongside a long list of international artists. Cam Kinsey leads the band, well worn telecaster in his hands, weaving sinuous improvised melodic and harmonic lines with panache and an original style that has its roots deeply planted in country music’s golden era.
