NO MONITORS ARE PROVIDED
All Solos, Duos & Trios scheduled to perform Friday, Saturday, Sunday afternoons at the Tiki Hut, Band Hut, or Inside Stage (during the off season) are to connect directly FROM YOUR MIXERS direct output. DO NOT USE A SPEAKER OUTPUT into our sound system. You will use a XLR cable or a balanced / unbalanced 1/4 inch instrument cable. DO NOT USE A SPEAKER CABLE to a wall mounted Direct Box labeled BAND BOX. This will eliminate the need for you to bring main speakers. You may bring monitors if you feel they are necessary. After plugging into our system, you will have to control your mix and monitor volume. Your mix will be sent to all areas, both inside and outside, on the deck of the Chesapeake Inn. It sounds best if all instruments and vocals are in the mix. The Manager on Duty will mix the sound on the deck and is authorized to control the bands monitor volume.
