With the arrival of the Australian summer, Alastair Leonard, barefoot and running through the sprinklers, bursts back onto the scene with a delightful new EP, cheekily entitled "Suckers".

Coming hot on the heels of his debut album, "Javan Tigers", the new EP is being launched by Leonard and his band, The Astrobiologists, on Thursday 5 January at Four5Nine Bar for what promises to be a gorgeous evening of adventurous and lyric-driven indie-pop music.

With support from local dream-pop shoegazers Mergo, and a special set of folk-punk & experimental sounds from composer Izzy French, the evening is Leonard’s only show for 2023 before decamping to Kalgoorlie.
