Doris and Day meets Django Reinhardt in the sweet swinging outfit Sancha and the Blue Gypsies. With a refreshing take on traditional folk, bluegrass, jazz and gospel tunes and a lifetime of performance experience between them, this joyous collaboration of some of Sydney's most respected musicians are headed your way. The lineup features Sancha Prowse (Vocals, Mandolin), Marcus Holden (Fiddle,Mandolin,Dobro,Vocals.) Garry Steel (Accordion) & Dave Clayton (Double Bass). From Leonard Cohen to Alison Krauss with a hint of Chick Corea, you'll be enthralled by this swinging quartet!



An Intimate Night @ Hotel Blue

This will be an Intimate Night in the Sisters Blue Restaurant. It’s a small room by typical music venue standards – don’t expect big crowds! Think good food, good wine (and beer and cocktails of course) and great music! This is a casual night and a great opportunity to get up close with world-class musicians. Enjoy a two-course dinner with the show for $59 or see the show only for $25. Even if you book the show only (without the dinner), you will be seated at a table and a casual bar menu will be available on the night, so you can still order a meal or something to nibble on. And don’t forget – if you’re bringing some friends, just let us know so we can seat you together.

First Set: 7:30 - 8:15pm

Intermissions: 8:15 - 8:45pm

Pre-Show Entertainment:

Come along early to enjoy the Belle Jar Trio whilst they play an energetic blend of gypsy, Klezmer, swing and pop styles, with a mixture of English and French lyrics. Belle Jar is a popular band in the Blue Mountains for their driving rhythms and infectious melodies that get audiences up and dancing, sometimes on the tables. The band likes to dress according to their mood which can be anything from circus to burlesque to Paris chic and enjoys nothing more than a dancing, theme dressed audience to party with.

The menu for the two-course dinner is a set menu. If you have any special dietary requirements, we will gladly make any necessary adjustments to your meal. Just remember to let us know the details of your special requirements when you make your booking as last minute changes may not be possible.
