Local Americana legend Allan Caswell once said that ‘this is the earliest gig I have ever played’, well that was until he remembered that he started a gig at 2am once. There are no 2am gigs at Hotel Blue because all our guests are enjoying a good night’s sleep, but when they wake, they expect a full cooked breakfast, and every Sunday they get a side of some of the best Blue Mountains musicians. This week we welcome the incredible John Stuart and the lovely Rachel Hannan back for another breakfast! John Stuart has been half of the ‘Lonely Swingers’ (now The Three-handed Beat Bandits), one of the bands that started live music at Hotel Blue. Rachel Hannan has been singing with the Axiom Jazz Trio for over a year. It was news to Hotel Blue that the duo have been performing together for over 20 years.
