Buffalo Paradise produce songs dripping with seafoam. Unafraid to get a crowd moving, this Sydney-based outfit leads with punchy vocals, thumping basslines, and driving rock rhythms, all coupled with laid back harmonies and surfy guitar leads that transport you to crystalline seas by sandy shores.
The band ended 2021 on a high, releasing their self-titled debut single ‘Buffalo Paradise’ which gained high praise from the industry. Triple j’s Declan Byrne was a big fan of the track, exclaiming: “What a freakin good time! Get me to my summer holidays nowwww”. The song also struck a chord with music publications Australian Music Scene, Pinnies and HappyMag, receiving very positive reviews and features on the sites. The biggest win for the release was the music video, directed by Joel Ludemann, earnt a play on ABC’s program Rage. Buffalo Paradise played a sold-out single launch show at The Chippo Hotel in December 2021, capping off a massive year for the band.
The joy-spreading indie outfit’s second single ‘Promises’ is set to release on February 4, with a single launch show at Waywards (The Bank Hotel) to follow one week later, on Feb 11. The band are also working on a music video with director Joel Ludemann, to be released at a later date.
