New wave brass band BULLHORN are touring nationally October-December with their new pedal-to-the-metal single, ‘Uphill’. As part of their tour they have the absolute pleasure of performing at NightQuarter, Saturday November 12 with Chris Flaskas!

Fresh from rocking stages at Falls Festival and Queenscliff Festival, the massive sounding 9 piece brass attack have cemented their reputation as one of the hottest acts touring Australian festivals whilst shattering any preconceptions of what brass bands are capable of.

The new single Uphill lands with a new sound as monstrous Roman MC spins a lyrical blend of autobiographical flashback meets mystic narration. Uphill is about struggle and overcoming the elements around and inside of oneself. As the old saying goes, you either 'get busy living or get busy dying' and this fiery new single captures a dramatic pointing the journey to face oneself and become.

29 year old Sunshine coast based Multi instrumentalist solo act Chris Flaskas is a writer, producer and performer of his own alternate genre called "Earth Rock"

Chris's unique style can be classed as alternative, folk, roots and has proven to be fun, vibrant, earthy, energetic, deep, tribal, fresh, motivating and very unique. Playing a large selection of hand crafted Native style instruments that Chris Sourced on many traveling adventures around the Globe Including Didgeridoos, Hawaiian Lap steels slides, 12 string guitars, clay, steel and timber African drums, banjo and the list goes on makes for a soul cleansing performance.
