Dwight Duncan, better known to the world as Reggae Superstar ‘Bushman’ is heading back to Australia this spring with his own brand of Rasta music. Bushman will kick off his Conquering Lion tour of Australia on the 4th of November 2017 in Melbourne. Born in the hills of St. Thomas Jamaica, and raised in a Rastafarian culture from the age of two, his talent for singing was soon recognised and nurtured by his grade school music teacher. As a teenager, he worked as a selector under the name Junior Melody for Black Star Line sound system, and took part in several local singing competitions and talent searches in and around St Thomas. Steely and Clevie recorded Bushman’s first song with Junior Melody called “Grow You Natty”, which was followed by the hit “Call de Hearse”. With talks of an album, the duo wished to change the name Junior Melody to Bushman.
