Catherine Traicos, the acclaimed singer-songwriter, has announced the release of her latest album ‘The Nashville Record,’ a collection of delicate yet defiant chamber pop songs, performed by the slickest of Nashville musicians - an album that seeks to process pain and augment joy.

‘Butterfly’, the second single, is set for release on July 7 2023 and will be available on all major streaming platforms. ‘Butterfly' was written in a blurry romantic haze during the early days of a springtime mostly online romance. Much like the romance, the song was very short, just two verses with an instrumental in the middle. Catherine felt it important not to trample an arrangement on top of the song, to somehow allow it to retain its tender vulnerability.

'The Nashville Record', due in August, is a testament to Catherine's creativity, resilience, and ability to transcend genres and connect with listeners on a deep and emotional level.

Catherine will be joined by special guests Veruca Moon and Stella Cain.
