The Blue Mountains Charleston Challenge (brought to you by 'Music in the Mountains') will be held at the Hydro Majestic Hotel at Medlow Bath on Saturday, February 8, 2020. In previous years the Blue Mountains set and broke the Guinness World Record for the largest number of costumed people dancing the Charleston, however in 2020, we're just looking to kick up our heels and raise some funds for the Rural Fire Service.

This event has been a fundraiser for the vital services the Rural Fire Service provides every year since the Challenge's inception, however in light of this Summer's bushfires that have ravaged the Blue Mountains bush, we're looking for all the support we can get. We ask that everyone bring along at least a gold coin donation for all proceeds from this event will be going to the RFS - just 'Music in the Mountains' and 'The Hydro Majestic Hotel' saying "THANK YOU" for their tireless work in keeping our homes safe!

So get dressed up, bring along a gold coin donation and get ready to have a little bit of fun at the Mountains' original party palace. There will be live music with Kate Woolfe's Big Bad Swing Band, swing dancing with the Sydney Swing Katz, and we will once again dance the Charleston.
