Richard Keegan plays the blues but he’s not your average Blues guitarist. That is obvious by the types of instruments he plays and the unique ways he plays them. Hand-made three-string cigar boxes – four-string biscuit tins – five string fruit boxes. Playing old-school instruments means the music is raw, stripped back, with echos of the Delta blues. Songs you know, played. Richard is playing in Hotel Blue’s lounge as part of the Roaring 20s Festival. This is a free event open to all and is also pre-show entertainment for The Blues Angels playing ‘Live in the Attic’. 5-6:30pm, free event. Hotel Blue – welcome to the 'Blues Mountains'!
