Finn Rooney
Finn grew up listening to rock acts such as U2 and Oasis, and quickly became interested in what the guitar can do. At WAAPA, he studied guitar virtuosos like Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson and Mike Stern, which has shaped his musical style today. Join Finn for his graduation recital at the Rosemount Hotel, where he will showcase a variety of originals and influential song arrangements, featuring an eclectic mix of guitar sounds in the instrumental rock and fusion genres.

Jordan Abel
Inspired by the Yellowjackets, John Scofield, Robben Ford, Mark Lettieri, Cory Wong, Huey Lewis & The News, and many more, Jordan has written a handful of originals drawing inspiration from these great musicians. In the last year, Jordan got inspired by the Bluegrass and Folk genre, which has led him to write and arrange a couple of songs that he is excited to continue working on after his time at WAAPA. With all of these inspirations, you are sure to hear them in his song writing. Jordan will be playing his originals and arrangements at his end of year recital with great friends that he has met along the way. Playing with this band, has really inspired Jordan to create his music in a different way to how he would have in the past.
