Spencer Shuckstes

Spencer has spent the last four years immersed in contemporary music at WAAPA, with a focus on the electric guitar. As his course comes to an end Spencer will showcase What he has learned in his final graduation recital. With originals, covers and arrangements Spencer has built a set to excite. The set contains a wide variety of musical styles, including blues, soul, and funk.

Spencer is known for his quirky facial expressions, jarring hip movements, and a display of musical joy and passion. Influenced by artists such as John Scofield, Isaiah Sharkey, Steely Dan and The Chieftains, you can expect to hear plenty of musical flavours and styles. Spencer never fails to radiate joy whilst performing, which is known to rub off on the audience. This recital will be one to remember!



Nicole Cappeluti

Based in Perth, Australia, Nicole Cappeluti is an emerging singer-songwriter with a love for self-reflection through lyricism, wanting to explore every emotion in raw detail. Inspired by artists like Hozier, Mitski, Julia Jacklin and Elliott Smith, her sound is melancholic and vulnerable with a stream of consciousness style of lyricism. Blossoming love, heartbreak and the complexity of the queer experience are all explored in their graduation recital at the Rosemount Hotel on the 15th of November.



Harry Clifford

Harry Clifford is an aspiring singer graduating from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts after four years of study. His sound is influenced by a wide range of artists and bands including Billy Joel, Foreigner, Rob Thomas and the Eagles. Harry’s love of old school rock and blues music is delivered through his vocal style and stagecraft to bring captivating live performances to audiences who share his passion. Supported by some of WAAPA’s most talented musicians, Harry is excited to share an evening spent winding back the clock and reliving the music of days gone by.



TAMARAH

TAMARAH invites you to a mesmerizing evening at the Rosemount Hotel on November 8th; a collection of her takings from the walls of WAAPA. The recital shines as her last performance as a fourth-year student, be prepared to be enchanted by the soulful sounds of R&B, Neo-Soul, and Soul music. Influenced by artists like Christina Aguilera, Erykah Badu, and Jazmin Sullivan, TAMARAH is set to grace the stage and fill the venue with her soulful tone and presence.
