Crywank, the UK’s biggest anti-folk punk band, are back for one last bittersweet trip across Australia. Since their last tour, the band has broken up, reformed, added a new member (frequent collaborator ‘Guard Petal’ has joined Crywank on bass), and (unofficially) broke a world record (most cities performed in a day). Now, after over a decade of crafting their unique blend of raw, heartfelt, and often darkly-humorous songs, Crywank are finally returning down-under – for this rare opportunity to see them live.
After captivating audiences during their 2017 and 2019 Australian tours, Crywank have only grown stronger. The band has since unleashed a treasure trove of new music, further solidifying their devoted global following of folk-punk lovers. This tour promises to be a poignant celebration of their legacy, blending fan favourites with deep cuts from their extensive discography.
As always, Crywank’s music is 80% sad – but their live performances offer a cathartic experience like no other. Fans are encouraged to come prepared to cry, but (in true Crywank style) reminded that literal wanking is strictly off-limits
"With their encapsulation of depression and anxiety, combined with incredible creative imagery and unique wordplay, Crywank have consistently created haunting and addictive music."
- Dying Scene
"While it is a sad reality that many prospective fans of Crywank will likely overlook the band based solely on their name alone, the fact remains that not only are they one of the most endearing and cathartic duos on the scene, but that their live show is one of the most immersive and genuine you will find anywhere."
- Tyler Jenke, Tone Deaf/The Brag
"For the love of all that is good, do not miss the opportunity to witness the duo on one of their numerous upcoming world tour dates. For not only does the fully self-funded and managed Crywank deserve your support, they are the last great bastion of what music can and should be in a world full of incessant and often disposable noise."
