Dan Sultan has won 2 Deadly Awards 2010 (Best Male Artist, Best Single for ‘Letter’), scooped 2 AIR Awards 2010 (Best Independent Artist and Best Independent Blues & Roots Album) and has beaten off some serious competition to take out this country\'s most prestigious accolades; 2 ARIA awards for Best Blues & Roots Album [‘Get Out While You Can’] and Male Artist of the Year 2010. Earlier this year, Dan supported Bruce Springsteen for select dates of his 2014 tour, then released his fourth album ‘Blackbird’, out on independent label Liberation and recorded in Nashville with acclaimed producer Jacquire King (Of Monsters And Men, Modest Mouse, Tom Waits, Kings Of Leon, Editors).\nThe album debuted at number 4 on the ARIA chart and Dan completed a massive national tour this winter to support the album, taking along Stonefield and Way Of The Eagle doing a DJ set. He has also been announced at the inaugural ambassador for The GO Foundation, run by Adam Goodes and Michael O\'Laughlin. He has just announced his next EP Dirty Ground, full of sparse and stunning new songs as well as some quieter moments and B-sides from his acclaimed 2014 album \'Blackbird\'.
