Daphné Mia Essiet is a woman of a rich cultural background. After years of traveling the globe for work, she decided to leave the comfort of her corporate job behind to step into a new challenge to pursue her dream as an artist.

The American-born Franco Nigerian artist expresses her love for the art through music, poetry and visual art.

She graduated from the Institute of Audio Research, and also studied Jazz Performance at City College. For years she has been writing her own material as well as producing and writing her own music. 

She sings in English, French, Portuguese and her compositions are inspired by Love, Womanhood, Travels, Self-Discovery and Society.
