ARTIST INTRO // Sacha // Sacha Alexiou's sound is characterised by an ability to be genre fluid and an obsession with downtempo. Disco, post punk, italo, new wave, leftfield, techno and electronic are all common place within a performance. This means his sets have a unique sound where the space between each beat invites you to find new ways to move in rhythm. His inspiration for dance music stems from a long history and passion for Black Bear Lodge, Meanjin's prolific live music and club venue that has dominated the scene for over a decade.
