DJ Smooth Nicholas is the side project and alter-ego of Nick Solo, better known as the frontman of much loved Australian Hip Hop outfit Horrorshow. Growing up obsessing over the origins of samples contained within Hip Hop beats has led to a deep fascination for all genres with a special passion for the sonic warmth of funk, soul and jazz music. After years of refining his selections via DJ sets at vinyl bars and restaurants and his exclusive Recordlections live streams, Smooth Nick is more excited than ever to share the unknown gems and well-known classics hidden within his extensive record collection.
