Description

To Apply to Showcase at EMC LIVE

Step 1. Fill in your details and the questions below, plus add a brief intro message to give an indication of your vibe.
Step 2. If you are new to Muzeek, you will receive a verification email. Follow the link in that email to create your new profile. If you have an existing Muzeek account, you can simply log in as normal and make sure your artist profile is up to date.
Step 3. Once you have verified your account and you are logged into your Muzeek account, complete your Muzeek artist profile.

Please note: the Muzeek artist profile you create will be published publicly. Your messages to EMC LIVE and your application will, of course, be kept private. Your profile should include your current bio, links to your music, socials and videos. All of this media will be publicly viewed so make sure it is current and up to date. Your profile will also give EMC all the information we need to review your application to perform at EMC LIVE.

Please take care when completing your profile. Make sure it gives EMC the key highlights about you as an artist and as much info as possible including links to music, social media links, videos and photos.

Once you've completed the form below, we’ll remind you of the above steps. Look out for an email from Muzeek - keep an eye on your junk folder too.

1. Please verify and log in to your Muzeek account from the verification email sent to your email address.

2. Once you're in your Muzeek account, head to "Settings" under the "General" tab and make sure your profile is completely populated and up-to-date with artist information, bio, genres, images and media. If you fail to do this your application will be invalid. You will have until the 11:59pm AEST on Sunday 11th September 2019 to complete your application

3. If you wish to go back and edit your application answers go to the "Bookings" section of your Muzeek dashboard, click the pending "EMC LIVE" request, then head to the "Paperwork" folder icon. In that folder you will see your application.

4. Our EMC LIVE curator Dave Ruby Howe will be selecting 16 live acts (8 per night) to showcase at EMC LIVE 2019. Live acts being DJ’s, solo, duos, trios or four members or more in a performance

5. We'll notify you by close of business Wednesday 12th September whether you've been chosen to showcase at EMC LIVE 2019.

7. How would you describe the artist's cultural background? The artist's cultural background is the cultural/ethnic group(s) to which the artist feels they belong to, or identify. This background may be the same as their parents, grandparents, or their heritage, or it may be the country they were born in or have spent a great amount of time in, or they feel more closely tied to. Please list for each performing member below.

8. What are the postcodes of residence for each performing member? Please list all performing members below with their postcode of residence.

9. Please provide you phone number incase we need to urgently contact you regarding your application. We will only contact you via phone if email is unresponsive.
