Headliner: Guineafowl

Off the strength of debut EP Hello Anxiety, Guineafowl was signed to Dew Processin 2010. The release – a raw, DIY offering – instantly boxed him with ‘80s experimental acts like early Bowie – whom he shares a birthday with – and contemporary acts like Vampire Weekend and Arcade Fire. Despite his solo bedroom recording and producing, Guineafowl’s live shows were a crowded affair - one show saw him and six others recreating the solitary sounds he demoed in a Bondi apartment. In 2011, he zigzagged across Australia, playing more than 240 shows in under a year.
