The Beans are a 3 man musical powerhouse who have been captivating audiences since their formation in the Winter of 2012. The Beans are Michael Harvey (Guitar/Voice), Jeff Argent (Drums) and Will Henderson (Guitar/voice/trumpet).

With a voice that is smooth yet abrasive over his blues-soul drenched guitar, Harvey teamed up with drummer Jeff Argent (Takadimi, Jess Beck Quartet & Los Monos) and musical wizard Will Henderson (Pena Flamenca, The Conscious Pilots) to give birth to The Beans. Based on a love of back road blues, soul, surf music, funk and hip-hop, The Beans have set-out to sing songs from the heart and share their warm vibe far and wide. Since their inception in 2003 the group have acted independently, recording five homegrown e.p’s while nurturing a loyal fan base. The Beans have launched their two finest works this year, the latest and most deliciously nutricious release ‘No need for it’ has been recieved to rave reviews accross the Brisbane scene, and with a full length LP due for release in early 2007, this veggie patch looks as if it will keep on growing!
