GD & The Tin Man brings together Sydney-based fingerstyle guitarist and singer-songwriter Graeme Druce (GD) and harmonica player Mal Gillies for a set built on country blues, Piedmont fingerpicking, and original songwriting.

GD draws on decades of experience across projects including the 12 Bar Dudes, GD & The King Brothers, and The Throwbacks, and brings a growing catalogue of original material that blends traditional country blues guitar with his own voice as a writer.

Mal has played blues harmonica in Sydney for over 30 years, moving fluidly between Chicago-style amplified blues and acoustic Delta, folk, and country styles. He's lent his harp to bands including Mark 'N The Blues and Sydney's Chickenstones, recording on their final album, Mystery Train. He now lives in the Southern Highlands of NSW.

Despite the distance between Sydney and the Highlands, GD and Mal bring their shared depth of experience together for an authentic, textured take on country blues.
