Shay Leonia | Advocation of Big Dreams | A Nostalgic Singer-Songwriter Concert

Shay Leonia is a singer-songwriter from Englewood, NJ, raised by a family of musicians and a Jewish mother. She has appeared on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" as a singer and dancer for Janelle Monae, and frequently provides supporting vocals for world renowned artists, Maya Azucena and Psychic Ills. She has recorded songs with the legendary, DJ Marley Marl, Treach (Naughty by Nature) and R&B songstress, Monifah. Shay has been featured on the cover of We Are Jersey magazine as an advocate for survivors of sexual and domestic violence and prides herself on mentoring youth about entrepreneurship and dreaming big. Shay considers herself a connoisseur of 90's nostalgia and "dope music", and is currently putting the finishing touches on her debut album. She hopes to one day work with her idol, Janet Jackson.
