'Towers', which premiered on triple j Breakfast this morning, is a gleaming slice of guitar-driven alt-pop, with Gretta's effortless vocals delivering a deft turn of phrase. Listen here.
'Towers' is the follow-up to last year's breakout single 'Drive' (co-produced by Josh Barber and award-winning composer Jonathan Dreyfus, mixed by Ryan Hewitt, mastered by Lachlan Carrick). 'Drive' earned Gretta the title of triple j's Unearthed High winner and a #27 spot in the Hottest 100, as well as the top prize in the Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition. Not a bad result for someone in her final year of school.
