Archie Perkin was born with a heart defect known as double outlet right ventricle, as well as a hole in his heart. He bravely pushed through three major heart surgeries when he was born, and made the decision to continue living the amazing life that was given to him. Tragically, Archie passed away on December 29, 2019 while he was at the beach with his mates.

Archie’s sister Mimi and her parents started Hearts4Arch to provide cardiac patients across Sydney Children's Hospitals Network with AliveCor’s mobile ECG devices, known as KardiaMobile. These devices provide doctors with personal, current and accurate information about their patients to assist with providing care for children with congenital heart defects. Having these devices will hopefully give the doctors, children and their families knowledge that allows everyone to be confident in the repaired heart’s health.

“Archie coming into this world was the best thing that ever happened to me,” said Mimi.

“He taught me everything I know as we grew up together side by side.”

“Archie was cheeky, funny and the biggest daredevil I knew, and he loved the beach and surfing with his mates.”

“I hope with the funding from this charity other heart kids will be able to love their life like Arch did, without doubt or hesitation.”

This charity music and raffle night aims to honour the life of Archie and support the initiative of his wonderful family. Thank you for your kind support.
