To celebrate their forthcoming studio Rue (out Oct 19), Hellions have announced three exclusive release week shows in Brisbane, Melbourne & Sydney. Revered for their explosive live shows, the Sydney 4-piece will showcase songs from the new album in the intimate settings of Brisbane’s Crowbar, Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club and Sydney’s The Lair (Metro Theatre). 
Having previously sold out shows around the country on their Opera Oblivia Tour last year, fans are advised to get in quick to avoid missing out.
To coincide with the announcement of their tour, Hellions have shared the new video for their current single “Smile", following on from previously released tracks “X (Mwah)” and “Furrow”. Smile was born late in the creation process and is a dynamic, upbeat tune built around the refrain ‘I’m ready to run, are you ready?’ that provides a tongue-in-cheek look at the depth of our interactions in the digital age.
Rue builds upon the marriage of theatrical dynamics and thoughtful lyricism that defined the genre-melding Australian quartet’s critically acclaimed previous offering, 2016’s third collection Opera Oblivia which debuted at #4 and was nominated for an ARIA award. The resulting record is deeper and darker, with melodies that are more beautiful, and riffs that are more seismic.
