HHS is a contribution to jazz; in spirit, in literacy and in trio.
Presenting Damien Ellis on the kit, Joshua Smeltink on the piano and Henry Hicks on the bass this trio is exploring American folk music AKA Jazz: from the Bebop bangers of the 50s to the spiritual sounds of the 70s through to the modern harmonies of such composers as Wayne Shorter, HHS features standard and original repertoire with a high emphasis on group improvisation.
