On stage for over 3 hours colliding Sun Kissed Indie Surf with Bavarian Horn punk, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to catch both acts at the peak of their powers across Australia in March 2019.

Having only previously been to these shores once before,LaBrassBandais a wild mix of modern Bavarian folk music, ska, punk, techno, reggae and, of course, brass.

Fast, energetic, and fiercely regional, The seven band members represent what Bavarian dancehall music mingling and partying with different cultures from all over the globe can sound and look like.

They gained nationwide popularity when participating at the Eurovision Song Contest preliminaries in 2013 and their breakthough album “Europa“smashed into the top 3 in the German charts.

Since then LaBrassBandahave gone on to dominate the festival circuit in Deutschlandor Germany?every single year, selling out Munich’s 12,000 seat Olympiahalleand touring the globe from USA, Zimbabwe and of course Europe from the UK to Siberia. 

Caravãna Sunhave enjoyed a massive 2018 playing to thousands of people across the globe and off the back of the game changing singles Beauty & The Painand Come Backfrom the Silver Linings EP.

Reflecting on how this tour concept came together, Singer/ Guitarist Luke Carrasays,

“We met Fabien from LabrassBanda backstage over a couple steins of lager at a small Austrian festival in 2015, since then we have become great friends, they have taken us under their wing and we have played over 30 Beer Tents & major open air festivals together.”

“This tour is a chance for us to return the favour and we are super pumped to travel Australia, teach them to surf & explore our beautiful home land.” 

Talking about the interplay that has developed over the years, Luke mentions that the integration between the 2 acts will be a key part of the stage show for this tour. 

 “Whilst touring in Germany together, LaBrassBandawould jump on stage & join us to close the night. So the idea was born that we should create a concept show for this Australian tour which will be relentless celebration of the best aspects of both bands – However we’re still unsure how they will go bringing their lederhosen into Australia”
