Irregular Fit is a newly established interdisciplinary arts platform comprised of Sydney-based Indigenous, Bla(c)k and POC led artist collectives. Irregular Fit will contribute to creating a more sustainable and equitable future for marginalised communities within arts industries by connecting established/emerging audiences with empowering experiences through festivals, exhibitions, events, workshops and impact research.

Irregular Fit began in August 2018 as a DJ workshop and event program in partnership with MusicNSW for people with barriers to accessing the world of djing. Since it's initial inception, Irregular Fit has evolved into a multiplatform interdisciplinary arts collaboration comprised of Sydney-based Indigenous, Bla(c)k and POC led artist collectives. The project is a large-scale collaboration between existing artists and creative collectives including: Ayeesha Ash (creative director, Blackbirds), Gianna Hayes (creative director/curator, Between Two Worlds), Dr Jehan Kanga (co-director, The DAM(N) Project; associate director, Co-Curious & The Song Company) and led by Executive Director of Irregular Fit , Ayebatonye Abrakasa (Creative director, House of Ayebatonye; creator, Don’t @ Me x FBi Radio & Irregular Fit x Nomad Radio)

On November 16 they will be launching their 2020 program with visual installations, live performances and DJ sets from special international guest Culoe De Song (SA), as well as local talent Merph, Jane, bbygorlambs and many more to be announced.
