James Allison | An Evening with James Allison | A Pop Rock Singer-Songwriter Made in Heaven Event

James Allison is a producer and songwriter born from Columbus, OH. Playing under
both his own name and his electronic pop project, Digisaurus, Allison has amassed national media attention from outlets like CMJ, Pop Matters, and Lightning 100 FM in Nashville and racked up over half a million streams online. Inspired by the story of the Beatles humble beginnings in Hamburg (in which they played five hour gigs, seven nights a week, for two years), Allison has spent much of the past 3 years on the road playing over 500 shows at dives, houses, coffee shops, breweries, wineries...wherever would have him to hone his skills as a performer. His progress has been reciprocated in 2018 and 2019 with club gigs and festival appearances alongside acts like tuneYards, Parquet Courts, Joywave, and Japanese Breakfast.
 
Allison’s solo music represents somewhat of a departure from the electronic pop sound he’s become known for. Stripping himself down to just a piano and guitar, he focuses on writing in the style of his heroes, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, and Bob Dylan. Allison’s solo shows provide a unique listening experience focused on the essence of songwriting through simple melodies and introspective lyrics. His debut solo album will be released in 2020.
