Jamey Foxton arrived on the scene seven months ago with his intoxicating debut single “You Rang My Bell”, recorded at the legendary Sun Studio in Memphis. Many of you joined me on the first wave with Foxton, as we watched “You Rang My Bell” sweep up hearts across the nation, garnering high-rotation and adoration across Australia’s radio waves. There's a simple reason why every song Foxton has released since has followed his debut to high-rotation on national stations - he knows how to tell a story. His latest release (and very first music video) "Adam Blues" has been picked up by CMT for multiple programs after ranking in the top 1% on the country radio charts.

Jamey Foxton is the result of a fascinating story weaving together the mysterious biographical zig-zag of a world class skateboarder and film producer turned music maker, whose golden tone truly sounds from a different era. His music has been described by one LA film director as simply “cinematic”.

The success of Foxton’s releases in such a short space of time has been echoed by the unexpected progression of his live act. Just months ago, he joined The Banks Brothers on stage at the Tamworth Country Music Festival for their big show, featuring additional talent from some of the finest country acts in Australia. The result was an unforgettable ten-piece country hoedown, described by one as “the best damn band in the land!”. Between releases Foxton has made appearances Headlining the Vanguard, playing The Country Inner Western Festival that took over Newtown, The Shady Pines Saloon, The Union, Joleen's, Yulli's Brews, Austinmer, and has even been sighted in far north NSW, cheering up the friendly farmers of Chillingham.

While geography and age may vary, the same pattern of rooms filled with deep fruity laugher and dancing seem indicative of Foxton’s trail.
