Melbourne based guitarist, singer and producer, JEFF LANG is widely regarded as one of Australia's most talented songwriters and technically gifted musicians.
Across a career that includes 32 albums, 3 x ARIA awards and countless national and international tours, Jeff is not one to keep still.
His wonderful album of collaborations released last year - More Life - featured songs co-written and performed with John Butler, Liz Stringer, Don Walker, William Crighton, Suzannah Espie, Kerri Simpson, Hat Fitz & Cara, Bassekou Kouyate and Debashish Battacharya, among others.
During the 22 date national tour to introduce the album in late 2024, Jeff recorded many of the shows and he has assembled some of the best performances on a newly released live album - 'More Live' - featuring many of the guests on the album.
This appearance at Mojo's will be a journey through his considerable back catalogue along with choice cuts from More Life.
Up close and intimate in solo mode, Jeff will dazzle with his guitar wizardry and draw intricate word pictures with his carefully crafted songs.
Relentlessly gigging across the globe, equipped with an old Goldtop in her hands and a revolutionary Farmer Foot Drum at her feet; MINNIE MARKS consistently pushes musical limits with her mind-blowing, dynamic guitar wizardry and her insanely powerful voice, that roars out her truth through song as if her own life depended on it. And, if that’s not enough, simultaneously, creates bone marrow shaking grooves with spare limbs on her Foot Drum kit. Finally all three beasts are married together to forge a mammoth sized wall of sound.
MELODY POOL is an acclaimed Australian songwriter known for her ethereal vocals and emotionally resonant songwriting. She first gained national attention with her debut album The Hurting Scene in 2013, which led to a record deal with Mushroom Group and support slots for legendary artists including The Eagles, Don Henley, and Rodriguez. Her follow-up album, Deep Dark Savage Heart, delved into personal struggles with mental health and was the focus of a widely praised episode of ABC’s Australian Story. After a six-year hiatus, Pool returned with the 2023 EP Lost in Time, marking a powerful comeback and artistic rebirth. Now, she continues her evolution with the upcoming release of her third studio album, recorded live to tape and produced by Christopher Dale. With a sound that fuses ‘60s folk, rock & roll, and psychedelic influences, Pool reaffirms her place as one of Australia’s most compelling and visionary voices.
