Jengyz is the type of artist whose songs you want to keep to yourself; they're kind of personal. However, he doesn't shy away from the spotlight, with his debut EP 'The Healers Call' gaining a small but cult-like following. While playing solo shows & experimenting with his own band, Jengyz wrote & released his second EP, River Of Dreams, showing a slight shift in his approach to the classic folk style - with a slightly darker edge. In early 2019, Jengyz published his third EP, entitled Inside My Head, consisting of songs that resemble the love and sorrow from 'The Healers Call', whilst also delving into his thoughts & beliefs during this time. Jengyz's most recent single release 'Strange Fruit' is an ominous track - the lyrics delve into spiritualness and something being of beauty when seen otherwise. A pioneer in a day & age where the artist can get lost in translation, Jengyz just wants to be true to himself & others.

Presented by 'Music in the Mountains', Aunty Ed's 'Sunday Session' is home to the best grooves you're going to find anywhere in the Blue Mountains.
